Dave Pattillo – Founder & President
Dave Pattillo has over 30 years of experience in firms of all sizes. He has a 1991 BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M (College Station) and a 2016 Masters Degree (MSA) in Accounting from Texas A&M – Commerce. He has worked and consulted for major firms such as PriceWaterhouse Coopers, McKesson, Flowserve, Citi, and Aon. Since 1996, Dave has worked with clients of all sizes and many industries to improve their systems and processes around financial systems and HR/Payroll. He lives in Dallas with his husband and their whippets, Rayban & Oakley. Dave is certified in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Point of Sale, and QuickBooks Desktop; he is Advanced Certified in QuickBooks Online.
Garrett Heston – Client Accounting Manager
Garrett Heston is Client Accounting Manager at BridgeRight Group. He is most passionate about learning new clients’ businesses and seeing how the different parts come together, as there is always so much to discover that goes on “behind the curtain.” He thoroughly enjoys that “eureka feeling” that he gets when finding the right solution to a puzzling business problem.
Garrett’s main duties include overseeing the back office functions performed for clients, as well as all month-end closings. He is always available to answer questions or provide assistance anytime a client runs into a problem within their business operations. He first started with the company in 2017 and restarted in late 2020 after a brief stint away working as an audit intern.
Garrett is a Certified QuickBooks® Online ProAdvisor and is on track to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas at Dallas in May 2021. When he’s not working, Garrett enjoys reading, riding his bike, and playing games—especially chess. He loves scary movies and has an extensive collection of horror films. He checks his horoscope at least once a week.
Diego Garcia – Assistant Bookkeeper
Diego Garcia joined BridgeRight Group in March 2020 as the company’s Assistant Bookkeeper. He enjoys being able to develop his skills by working on projects with clients and team members. He is most passionate about helping clients manage their books and collaborating with them and other coworkers to find solutions to any and all problems that arise.
Diego’s general duties include handling the day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation needs of clients. He is a Certified QuickBooks® Online ProAdvisor and earned an Associate’s degree in General Studies from Richland College, before furthering his education at Southern Methodist University with a focus on Economics with Finance Applications Specialization. He is the very first person in his entire family to attend college.
Despite his irrational fear of heights, Diego has gone skydiving! His favorite TV show is The Office, and when he’s not working, he likes to fish, read, and go on walks with his Golden Retriever, Arlo. He previously volunteered at the local SPCA, helping take care of cats and dogs.
